Compulsory module

Bio240: Microbiology (usually in the 3rd term) A detailed course description can be found in the current module handbook for the "bachelor in biology" (german).

Required elective module

Specialised module V404: General Microbiology (usually in the 5th or 6th term) A detailed course description can be found in the current module handbook for the "bachelor in biology" degree course on page 7.  We currently offer the module in both summer and winter terms.

Elective courses (usually in the 6th term).

We offer practical projects in the lab where you have the opportunity to work on current microbiological topics either from basic research or the applied sciences (6 weeks without exam).

Bachelor thesis (usually in the 6th term).

We offer mainly practical bachelor theses that address current microbiological topics either from basic research or the applied sciences (3 months, 15 CPs).
