Our collaboration partners

Collaborations within research associations

Within the framework of our CEPLAS excellency initiative we network with research groups from the University of Cologne, the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research MPIPZ at Cologne and  Forschungszentrum Jülich (Jülich Research Centre) FZJ.

Within the framework of the Bioeconomy Science Center (BioSc) we do research towards sustainable bioeconomy in collaboration with groups from RWTH Aachen University, Bonn University and Forschungszentrum Jülich (Jülich Research Centre).

Within the framework of the iGRADplant graduate school we closely collaborate with research groups from Michigan State University MSU at East Lansing (USA), for example with the groups of  Dr Jonathan Walton and Dr Shen Yang He.

Within the framework of the Manchot graduate school MOI we interact with research roups from the Institute for Medical Microbiology and the Institute for Virology of Düsseldorf University's Medical Faculty.

Within the framework of the graduate cluster Industrial Biotechnology CLIB we are well connected with the University of Bielefeld and  Technical University Dortmund. In addition we have close ties to Forschungzentrum Jülich (Jülich Research Centre), in particular with the Institute for Molecular Enzyme Technology IMET.

Within the framework of the Collaborative Research Centre SFB1208 on Membrane Systems we closely work together with groups from Heinrich-Heine University's Biology and Biochemistry departments. Focus is on longdistance transport of endosomes.

Within the framework of DFG Research Unit FOR2333 on mRNA localisation we closely collaborate with groups from the universities in Tübingen, München and Frankfurt as well as with groups from the Max-Planck institute in Tübingen and the EMBL at Heidelberg. Focus here is on mRNP transport.

Completed Projects:

Within the framework of the German/Mexican Research Unit DFG/CONACYT FOR1334 we collaborated on the German side with groups from the universities of Bochum, Düsseldorf, Götttingen, Jena, Karlsruhe and Marburg. On the Mexican side research groups from Ensenada, Irapuato and Mexico City were involved.
